Bought DVR only, Good system, reasonable price
Bought just the DVR after reading reviews (had my own cameras). Initial set up was easy but then ran into some issues with the master password. Sent an email to tech support and response came within 12 hours with detailed instructions. For that concern and a few other questions I had about the system (user manual is a bit lean), worked with one support person, Slina, who was very helpful.User interface is easy to understand and allows for detailed programming of the DVR as well as the cameras (on/off time, names, etc). The default programming sets the machine up for 24 hour, continuous recording, so setup goes fast. Had my own cameras and as described there was no problem having them work with the DVR. Looking at the other reviews, the DVR restarts automatically after a power failure

Great product and Outstanding Customer Service!!!
Just bought this one to replace my old Zosi DVR that didn’t not work with the new Zosi camera. Their customer service, specifically here is Bessie who helped me from troubleshooting my old device to pointing me to a new affordable one that would be compatible with my new system, provided one of the best service that I’ve experienced. Although, you may not be able to get them on the phone, they are very quick on replying to email and would answer your questions patiently. The video quality and the features that come with it are excellent for the price. Definitely recommend Zosi!Ps: They also offer me a 10% discount.

Replacement for older dvr
I had to replace my dvr. It was 3 years old and it died. Contacted seller and got a replacement. It works as it should. Easy to setup

Not great quality
Failed after two day's only showing two out of the six channels. This was a replacement to the first one that showed camera's but never recorded properly or the time properly but I ignored those issues until they became important.

Zosi DVR 8-Ch works as advertised & customer services is exceptional.
Very happy to purchase the Zosi DVR to replace the discontinue unsupported the Qsee DVR. The setup is quick, straight forward and automatically defaults. Zosi DVR also works with existing Qsee cameras. Now I can remote the cameras with ZosiSmart app from my iPhone. Definitely love it and recommend this Zosi DVR. Also, customer services is exceptional.

I am not able to access security cameras via app on my smartphone
I have used this camera system for years. But little over a year ago it stopped working and I ordered a new dvr. Setup to my smart tv was simple but somehow I am not able to access my security system via the app on my phone. I would love to have someone each out before I return this item.

Nice replacement
I had an identical Zosi DVR, and a lightning strike took out 1 channel on my number1 camera. I took the hard drive out of it and installed it in this unit losing none of the memory of previous recordings. I have 6 cameras installed on mine recording all day and night and I get just over a month with 2 tb of storage before it starts overlapping old footage .I had a Swann unit before in a previous home and Ican say this is a better setup.
